Dear Client. I would like to start by thanking you for visiting Blues & Burgers. We are excited about having you here and our desire is to make your dining experience the best you have ever found. If you ever have a suggestion or comment please ask for a comment form and we would love to hear what you have to say. We have listened to your comments and are in the process of making some new changes to our restaurant. Many of our customers said that they wanted more atmosphere so we changed our colors inside, imported some wall paper from the U.S., installed new lighting and are in the process of adding doors to the kitchen, building a new cashier and will be adding a beautiful wood trim on top of the wood strip that exists now. The strip that is up now is only to nail to. We also added many new items to our menu that I am sure you will love. We have added 3 new waffles, several new hamburgers and some new chicken sandwiches. If you are not sure what to try, the teriyaki chicken sandwich with grilled pineapple is one of my favorites. Another is the Patty Melt. This is a simple sandwich that is very rich in flavor because of the rye bread. You cannot go wrong with a Patty Melt. One item to note is the Guacamole and Bacon Cheese Burger. Guacamole is a Mexican dish that is used for dipping chips in or putting on sandwiches. It is made from avocados, onions, tomatoes, lime juice among other items (we left out the jalapeño peppers). We also put avocados on Cobb salad. That is what the original Cobb called for. I was a little nervous about using avocado because I realize that for people in Brazil, avocados are a sweet food. In the U.S. and in Mexico, they are a salty dish. I remember the first time I saw someone eat an avocado here they put sugar on it. It was something that I had never thought of or saw before. It seemed very odd to put sugar on an avocado but of course I had to try it and was surprised at how good it was. I realize that you normally do not eat avocado in salads or on hamburgers but I hope you will be as adventuresome as I was and give it a try. The Cobb salad is my favorite salad but I was reluctant to put it on the menu until now. Personally I like it with mozzarella cheese rather then the blue cheese it calls for but we offer both. Normally we offer our salads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar but we buy and make different dressings so be sure to ask about the dressing of the day. Thanks again for visiting and bom appetite. |
